The Pine Tree State Arboretum is dedicated to promoting knowledge and understanding of the natural foliage around us. Located adjacent to Highway 9, the arboretum is just West of the Kennebec River. In addition to a comprehensive collection of local plants, the arboretum features an alluring trail system spread over 224 acres of wilderness space, perfect for a brisk walk or leisurely stroll.
